Wow, it was hot last year at the Back to School Blowout! We really went through the snowcones! We will be having the blowout again this year on Sunday September 7,2008 from 2pm-4pm.

This year there will be games, rides, and special music from our own Travis Roberts, L&R Duff, and the Nfusion Teen Praise Band. PLUS, free giveaways! The best part is that everything is FREE, so join us and bring someone with you.

Here are a few shots from Easter Cantata rehearsal on Tuesday March 11, 2008.  The Easter Cantata will be presented on Easter Sunday, March 23rd at 10:30am.

For those involved in the cantata, there will be practice on Sunday March 16th at 6pm, Thursday March 20th at 7:30 and a dress rehearsal on Saturday March 22nd.

His Network, a coalition of churches in Tazewell County that is taking a stand against drugs and addiction, will be having a meeting at Nuckolls Hall at the Tazewell County Fairgrounds on Friday March 28, 2008 at 7:00p.m.

During this meeting, the vision and goals of this newly formed coalition will be presented. Also, information regarding a community march that will end at the Tazewell County Courthouse will be detailed.

County officials will be present at this meeting. All media outlets are invited to attend as well.

Please invite others to attend this important and life changing meeting. It is time for the church to rise!

On Easter Sunday, March 23rd, Destiny Outreach Ministries will be presenting an Easter cantata that will include singing and drama.

We hope that you will invite your friends, family, and other to join us on Easter!

If you would like to sing in our choir for this special event, please let us know ASAP so we can get the practice material to you. The next rehearsal will be on Sunday Jan 27th at 6pm.
