There will be 3 performances of our Christmas musical this year:
Friday, December 9th, at 7:00 p.m.; and 2 services on Sunday, December 11th, at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.
Begin now to invite your friends and family to attend. We will have approximately 80 children (ages 3-12) participating. Isn’t that exciting!
NURSERY WILL BE PROVIDED FOR AGES 3 AND UNDER FOR ALL 3 PERFORMANCES.
Ethan has a new brother, Michael. Only Michael’s not a cute little bundle of joy. He’s a pretty big kid — adopted — and a bit of an annoying trivia buff. When Michael starts busting some myths about Christmas to Ethan’s friends, it causes quite a stir. Ethan, Lily, and Abby begin to wonder: Were there more or less than three wise men? Was Jesus really born on December 25? And what about the angels: Did they sing or not? After reading the biblical account of the birth of Christ, Lily and Abby are still confused. Through it all, Michael learns that even though some facts about the very first Christmas might not be clear, the truth about why Jesus came is everywhere in Scripture. COMING TO DESTINY DECEMBER 9 AT 7PM AND DECEMBER 11 AT 9AM & 11AM.

Starting this weekend, November 21, the kids will go straight to the annex at the beginning of all services, both Sunday and Wednesday. The kids will not be in the sanctuary for praise and worship.
Mandatory rehearsal times:
For leaders and children of Destination Station
- Wednesday December 8th 7:00pm
- Friday December 10th 6pm-8pm
- Saturday December 11th 1pm-3pm
Day of Musical: Children need to be in the annex by 8:45am on Sunday Dec. 12th. Parents, please ensure that your child has had breakfast. All children need to wear dark jeans and black socks. Shirts will be provided. If your child will be wearing a costume, please see Pastor Missy.

Hey ladies, our first regular meeting will be September 10, 2009. Tracey Garrett from Home Health will be our guest speaker. She will be speaking about RSV and the injections that they offer for infants with RSV. This is going to be our first regular meeting and we can’t wait to see you there. Bring your kids and get ready to have a great time. There will be crafts, refreshments, discussion, and did I mention fun. Hope to see you there.

It is finally here! Destiny Outreach Ministries has released a collection songs on a self titled album. The CD will officially be available on Sunday April 13, 2008.
This CD features 10 songs that have been written within the church by members involved in the music ministry. Some of the songs have been introduced during worship on Sunday mornings, and some are brand new. On the album, you’ll hear a variety of styles that will appeal to adults and youth alike.
We are offering the CD at a special introductory rate of $8. You can also get 2 CD’s for $10 so you can give one away! All proceeds benefit the music ministry/cd ministry.
