The Back to School Blowout on Sunday September 7, 2008 was a great success.  Thanks to everyone who helped with food, games, rides, and everything else!

The annual “Worship in the Park,” church sevice will take place on Sunday, August 24, 2008, starting at 10:30am, at the Graham Recreation Park in Bluefield, Va. The park is located off of the West Graham exit of 19/460.

Each year we take our service out of our church building and to the rec park and have a picnic that wraps everything up. Many people stay and play games and have a great time of fellowship! Mark your calanders now and plan on being with us.

Here is what you should bring according to your last name:

A-F Vegetable Dish
G-M Dessert
N-R Casserole
S-Z Salad Dish

You also may want to bring a lawn chair for the service at the amphitheatre.

His Networks and our Celebrate Recovery group is raising money to minister to those on probation and incarcerated in our local jails.

There will be a golf tournament on Friday Aug. 8th at Wolf Creek Golf Course. If you or your company would like to form a team, the entry fee is $300. Your company can also sponsor a hole for $100. Wow, it was hot last year at the Back to School Blowout! We really went through the snowcones! We will be having the blowout again this year on Sunday September 7,2008 from 2pm-4pm.

This year there will be games, rides, and special music from our own Travis Roberts, L&R Duff, and the Nfusion Teen Praise Band. PLUS, free giveaways! The best part is that everything is FREE, so join us and bring someone with you.

There will be a Baptismal Service following the second church service on Sunday August 17th. If you would like to be baptised, contact us via the website or sign up at the information desk located in the foyer of the church.
