Kirk Talley

The name Kirk Talley has been synonymous with Southern Gospel Music for over 25 years. He has been a member of such talented groups as the Hoppers, the Cathedrals and the Talley Trio. During his time with the Cathedrals, Kirk wrote his first # 1 song “Step Into the Water“. The song remained at the top of the charts for nine months.

While with the Talleys, Kirk wrote the song “He Is Here“. The Talleys received the 1992 Dove Award for ‘Song of the Year’ for this ageless song. He Is Here was also nominated for the 34th annual Grammy Awards that same year.

Kirk began his solo career in 1993. He has been traveling and singing all across the United States and into Canada. Kirk’s first # 1 as a soloist came from his project titled “I Speak to You“. The song, “Joy on the Other Side of Jordan” was only the beginning for Kirk’s list of accomplishments.

Kirk will be part of our Sunday service on March 2, 2008 starting at 10:30am.

Men’s Breakfast

“Iron Men,” the men’s ministry of Destiny Outreach Ministries is kicking off it’s first men’s breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 16th in the Annex starting at 9am.

Bernard Cornwell, our men’s ministry director invites all men to join in for some great food, fellowship, and awesome news about “Iron Men.”

Please sign up at the church so we can prepare the meal.  The sign-up sheet is at the information desk.  There will be no charge.

MOPS Meetings Combined

Our MOPs morning meetings from 10:00am-12:00pm has been combined to our Evening Meetings from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

Our next meeting is Thursday, February 14 starting at 6:00pm. Hope to see you there!
