New Building Update

March 25, 2011

In January, the congregation voted to move forward with building negotiations with Par Church Builders.  Since then, we have met with church leadership, ministry heads, and others to construct floor plan drawings.  We have added 2 large rooms to the building.  One room will be for our youth and teens, and the other our children (Destination Station.)  With over 120 children (ages 6-12)  enrolled in our child check-in system, it is safe to say we are out of room!

We are now waiting on permits (sewage and ground control) to be approved before we can start work.  We anticipate starting our site preparation this spring, once the ground dries sufficiently.  If all goes as planned, we hope to begin building construction this summer.  A final floor plan and budget will be brought before church members for a final vote once we have it.  We will announce this meeting soon.
