Bishop Gerald Doggett will be our guest speaker during our special services Sunday April 6-9.

Gerald and his wife Doris Doggett have a vision…a vision to minister the Word of God to the nations by planting a church in every country and by deploying spiritual sons and daughters around the world.

After more than 40 years in the ministry, they are well on their way to achieving their vision. Gerald and Doris have assisted in the establishment of more than 200 churches and have ministered in Europe, Africa, Asia, South America, Canada, Mexico, Israel and across the United States.

As founders of Gerald Doggett Ministries and Covenant Connection International, the Doggett’s currently counsel 150 spiritual leaders and oversee approximately 20 churches. They have been married over 40 years, and have three children and six shining grandchildren.

His Network, a coalition of churches in Tazewell County that is taking a stand against drugs and addiction, will be having a meeting at Nuckolls Hall at the Tazewell County Fairgrounds on Friday March 28, 2008 at 7:00p.m.

During this meeting, the vision and goals of this newly formed coalition will be presented. Also, information regarding a community march that will end at the Tazewell County Courthouse will be detailed.

County officials will be present at this meeting. All media outlets are invited to attend as well.

Iron Men, the men’s ministry at Destiny will be having a men’s lunch on Saturday March 22, 2008 at noon.

The MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) meeting for Thursday March 13, 2008 has been canceled.

The Freely Given Women’s Ministry will be having a day of scrapbooking on Saturday March 29, 2008 from 10-2 in the Annex located behind the church.

All ladies are invited to attend. Some supplies will be provided, but if you have some, please bring them. Also you can stop in anytime and stay as long as you like.
